The Season of the Malignant is upon Wanderers and will introduce new powers for your Rogue, Necromancer, Druid, or Sorcerer classes. There are various types of Malignant Hearts in Sanctuary with various rewards and bonuses. This guide will detail where to find Brutal Outgrowths in Diablo 4.
How to find Brutal Outgrowths in Diablo 4
Brutal Outgrowths can be found in its matching Malignant Tunnels. You must go to the Dindai Hollow Malignant Tunnel to find a Brutal Outgrowth. You can find this tunnel in the Dry Steppes, Dindai Flats.
Additionally, clicking on the Malignant Tunnels will inform you what monsters you will find and which Invokers to craft for the Dungeon. You must have the appropriate Invoker to activate or unlock the corresponding Outgrowth.
Finding a Brutal Outgrowth will also be part of the A Plague of Hatred quest, during which you must craft a Brutal Invoker and use it to spawn the Brutal Outgrowth. To do this, you must find Cormond in Orbei. You must then use Cormond’s Workbench at Cormond’s Wagon to craft a Malignant Invoker. To craft a Brutal Malignant Invoker, you will need the following materials:
- 20x Vicious Malignant Ichor
- 20x Devious Malignant Ichor
- 50x Brutal Malignant Ichor
- 1,000 Gold
The Invoker will be used to summon the Malignant monsters at the Malignant Outgrowths within these tunnels. Once you have interacted with the Brutal Outgrowth, you must defeat the enemy and its minions to obtain a Malignant Heart. Once you defeat the monster with the Cage of Binding, you will receive the Caged Hearts. These Hearts can be placed in Jewelry with its matching Malignant Sockets.
