Your odds of gaining legendary items such as Aspects or Uniques are low in Diablo 4. So, it’s understandable you would want to know how to target farm for these items to better your chances of defeating enemies and building your classes, whether it be Barbarian, Druid, or Necromancer.
Changing your World Tier is vital to face stronger enemies to obtain rare, unique items. Or maybe you are interested in the Screaming Hell Veins during the Helltide events. This guide will detail how to target farm Aspects and Uniqies in Diablo 4.
How to farm Uniques in Diablo 4
There are a few specific events where you can increase your chances of acquiring a Unique Weapon. However, you must unlock the World Tier III Nightmare or any higher World Tier to do this. Complete the main campaign and the Cathedral of Light Capstone Dungeon in Kyovashad. Once you have reached a higher World Tier, you can participate in the following:
- Nightmare Dungeons
- Helltide Events and Helltide Chests
- Boss Fights
- World Boss Ashava
Additionally, some rare items may require the Monster Level 85+ to drop. You will also need to target enemy types, as each will have varying degrees of drop rates. For example, to get the Harlequin Crest, which requires World Tier IV, you must fight the Cultists in the Cultist Refuge, Conclave, or Serpent’s Lair.
How to farm Aspects in Diablo 4
Aspects can be extracted from specific gear parts and transferred to other weapons or armor. There are five types of Aspects, each with particular item types.
Aspect and Item Type
- Offensive – 1H Weapon, 2H Weapon, Gloves, Amulet, Ring
- Defensive – Helm, Chest Armor, Pants, Amulet
- Resource – Ring
- Mobility – Boots Amulet
- Utility – Helm, Chest Armor, Boots, Gloves, Amulet
You can find Legendary Aspects by clearing Dungeons. After clearing a Dungeon, the Aspect will be listed in the Codex of Power. To farm a specific item type, click on the entry found in the Codex. You can then pin its location on the map and obtain the item. Once you have your Aspect, go to the Occultist to extract the Aspect.
Additionally, you can also gamble Aspects at the vendor Purveyor of Curiosities. So, depending on the type of Aspect you want to obtain will depend on what Class you are and what item type you gamble on. To gamble on these Aspects, you will need Murmuring Obols. These are the in-game currency used to purchase items or Whispering Keys to open Silent Chests.
