Let’s find out what a large pot is, where to obtain it, and how to use it.

What is a large pot in Hogwarts Legacy?

If you asked anyone about the easiest way to get the resources in the Hogwarts Legacy, the answer undeniably would be to grow your own plants. However, In order to do this, you first need to get the plotting tables from within the game from a particular source.

There are various sizes of pots that you can get. Each of these can be used to grow a different type of plant.

The large pot is needed specifically to grow the Fluxweed Stem and the Venomous Tentacula. You can get yourself a large Potting Table from the large pot Spellcraft.

How to find the large pot

Fairly early in the game, you will be able to access the famed Room of Requirements in Hogwarts. The room allows you to build a base of operations for your adventures. You can decorate it according to your liking, as well as grow plants and brew potions.

Only after you unlock the Room of Requirements, can you get the large pot.

Purchase the large pot spellcraft

Once the Room of Requirements is unlocked, head on over to Hogsmeade. In the Tomes and Scrolls shop, you’ll find the spellcraft for the large pot. It can be purchased for 1,000 Galleons.

There is also a spellcraft of a more elaborate large pot that can grow two plants. Consequently, it’s more expensive and costs 3,000 Galleons.

Conjure the large pot

Once you are in the possession of a plotting table, go to the Room of Requirement and use the Conjuring spell. Press the Herbology icon in the menu and navigate to the large Potting Tables category.

From here, you will be able to find and select the large potting table category. Select it and place it wherever you want.

Moonstones

Keep in mind that conjuring Potting Tables in Hogwarts Legacy is fairly expensive. For the basic large pot, you’ll need 10 Moonstones, while the more expensive large pot will use 30 Moonstones to conjure.

The best way to get Moonstones is to find them outside Hogwarts. Alternatively, you can also use Evanesco to make existing furniture vanish. Doing this will grant you Moonstones for every piece of furniture that you eviscerate.

Why you need a large pot in Hogwarts Legacy

Conjuring up a potting table seems like a lot of fun, simply creating something from nothing with the power of a spellcraft (and a few Moonstones).
