Are you looking for the Red Mile in Starfield? This location is home to many quests, rewards, and shops. While you may not come here during the main story, you will be able to complete some side quests here if you venture off the beaten path.

The Red Mile is not close to many systems so you will probably need to make a few grav jumps to reach it. If you decide to come here, you enter a freezing planet that hosts a death game. Other planets in the universe like New Atlantis and Neon are far less deadly.

Starfield -Red Mile Location

The Red Mile in Starfield is located in the Porrima System on the planet Porrima III. The Porrima Star System is located between the Kryx system and the Volii System.

Porrima III is the third planet from the sun in the Porrima System. After selecting the planet, you will have two landing zones; The Red Mile and an industrial outpost.

The Red Mile is just a small taste of what you can expect to find throughout the universe. There are many faction quest lines and one of them will take you to the red mile as you deal with Marco. As a guest in the area, there will be a few activities you can take part in.

Starfield – Red Mile Points of Interest

There are a few areas of interest to check out in the Red Mile:

Red Mile Run

The main attraction of the Red Mile is the Red Mile Race. You can start this deadly sporting event by talking to Mei Devine near the entrance. She will ask if you want to be a runner. NPCs will then be able to bet on you. Mai Devine is the proprietor of the establishment and the one in charge of the run.

The race requires you to take an elevator down a tower to the planet’s surface and activate a beacon. Afterward, you will need to run through a crater filled with Red Mile Maulers. The packs of beasts are very dangerous so make sure you have your boost pack ready to avoid them.

If you manage to complete the run, you will get the following rewards:

• Desperation A-99 Assault Rifle (Only by completing the run multiple times)
• Hefty sum of credits
• A rare shotgun

Ship Services

You can speak to Lon Anderssen inside his office in the Red Mile. He will offer to sell you Shielded Cargo Holds and Scan Jammers. Both of these items are necessary if you want to avoid getting caught with contraband.

Starfield – Red Mile Shops

There is only one shop in the Red Mile:

• Sati Chandra – She sells weapons, ammo, and health aid items

Sati Chandra is located behind the bar in the Red Mile and will not only sell you items but purchase your smuggled contraband as well.

All of the areas that you can interact with are inside the Red Mile building which is near the ship landing pad.
