What if we told you that one of the best ships in Starfield is free, and you don’t have to worry about spending tons of credits on it? Sounds too good to be true, right? Well, it is true. The ship we’re talking about in particular is Star Eagle, and it is absolutely amazing. In this guide, we’ll explain how to get the Star Eagle in Starfield.
While other ships require you to spend credits, the Star Eagle ship can be acquired as a reward by completing a set of missions for the Freestar Collective. For those who don’t know, this is a faction located in Akila City. However, you will have to progress enough through the story to reach this city, as it can not be accessed otherwise.
How do I get the Star Eagle in Starfield?
At some point, you will find yourself visiting the Rock Bar, where you’ll need to talk to Emma Wilcox. She is the one who is going to introduce you to the Freestar Collective faction. But before you can join them, you’ll need to complete a short quest. Your journey won’t stop here, as you will then need to complete several more missions for the faction as a Freestar Ranger Deputy.
The missions you need to do to get the Star Eagle in Starfield include:
- Job Gone Wrong
- Deputized
- Where Hope is Built
- Shadows in Neon
- Surgical Strike
- On the Run
- First to Fight, First to Die
- The Hammer Falls
After you’ve completed all of the missions, you will get rewarded with the Star Eagle as a thanks from the faction for your services. You can then use the ship to explore the world of Starfield.
The Star Eagle ship will instantly become one of your favorite ships in the entire game due to its amazing cargo capacity, lots of shields, and its capability to carry up to 5 crew at the same time. It also has EM capabilities, something that makes boarding enemy ships easier. Whether you want to use this shop to explore the galaxies smoothly or engage in fights, it won’t disappoint you.
If you ever change your mind, you can also sell your ship for tons of credits. However, make sure you register your ship first, as you won’t be able to sell it otherwise.
