Can you pre order RTX 4070 Super?

As is the case with many graphics cards, we don’t expect to see any pre orders being possible for the RTX 4070 Super. Generally speaking, Nvidia will launch a new graphics card and stock is sold on a first come first serve basis, which caused stock shortages with cards like the RTX 4090. There is the possibility you’ll be able to contact a local store to reserve one for you. Other than that, it is usually possible to be notified of when products are back in stock via your retailer of choice by signing up for notifications. Even with the listings going up on some of the pages, there is no option to pre order it and just out-of-stock notifications at the moment.

The RTX 4070 Super is not the only graphics card that you can’t pre order – it’s just how the market is right now. Mostly it may come down to the fact that retailers may not be able to guarantee having the card and price to be able to stock it. They’d rather have the cards available and send them out as and when with the adjusted price if needed. Also sometimes it may lead to customers receiving some cards before the release embargo. As such, it wouldn’t be favorable to break the limits on the release and availability. Plus they may not find it necessary as the demand and supply have evened out more to get the cards more available.
