Maximizing your strength is necessary as you journey through the dangerous world of Sanctuary in Blizzard’s hellish Diablo IV. It’s the only way you’ll survive the hellish world of Sanctuary and defeat Lilith.

While having the best build and the best weapons are necessary for your journey, you’ll also want to maximize your damage output by understanding Damage Buckets. This way, you’ll get the best damage output.

Look no further if you’re confused because we’ve got all the Damage Bucket categories right here. We go in-depth so you can know all the different classes of Damage Buckets.

All Damage Buckets in Diablo 4

Damage Buckets are a term used by the community to refer to the different damage categories and damage modifiers found in the game, like Critical Damage and Overpower Damage. These stats or buckets can be added together in their own bucket for higher damage output.

However, what you want to strive for is to multiply the different buckets together, as you’ll get higher damage output and will be able to take down demons and enemies much faster. Each class has different buckets to focus on that can be multiplied, and by using these buckets to multiply them, you can abuse the Damage Buckets and get insane output.

Each class has its own Damage Buckets along with some universal ones that each class has. Here are all the Damage Buckets for each class in Diablo IV:

User SnowRaven has created a sheet with all the damage buckets as well, where they have been tested and proven to work in-game. We’d definitely recommend checking it out for future reference.

As said before, the goal of damage buckets is to multiply the buckets together for maximum damage output. Multiplication, instead of addition, allows for much higher weapon damage and skill damage. If you are using skills in the same bucket, the damage will only be added, and you’ll overall have fewer damage bonuses, too. Damage bucket multiplication works great with crowd control as well, to make you truly unstoppable. While you’ll need to do some serious damage calculations to figure out what works best, it’s worth it in the end.
