Anything is possible in Madden 24 franchise mode, including trading Aaron Donald, Cooper Kupp, and Matthew Stafford off of the Los Angeles Rams if that’s what you want to do. Most players like building a team up and turning them into a contender. Certain rosters make that easier than others, so here are a few of the best teams to rebuild in Madden 24.

Which teams are easy to rebuild in Madden 24?

The Houston Texans (78 OVR) are one of the best teams to rebuild in Madden 24. Featuring a new head coach and a rookie quarterback, few teams can rival the building blocks that the Texans have. They’re one of the worst teams in the NFL right now, but that can change under your management.

C.J. Stroud is a quarterback that can easily develop into a star in Madden. On the other side, the same is true for Will Anderson Jr. They have plenty of cap space, and they have a lot of draft picks to work with over the next couple of years thanks to their Deshaun Watson trade with the Cleveland Browns.

The Carolina Panthers (80 OVR) are also a good team to rebuild. They have number one overall pick Bryce Young, a talented defense, and a new head coach. Building blocks like Brian Burns, Young, Jaycee Horn, and more are young and developing nicely. Their defense is good and their offense can be built up easily.

The Chicago Bears (76) are in a similar spot. Justin Fields is electric and can easily be developed into a star. They have nailed the last free agency and have a lot of picks to draft with. Cole Kmet is a bright tight end (TE), too. In a few years, they’ll probably be good, so why not try to do that in Madden, which features Buffalo Bills star Josh Allen on the cover, right now? There’s plenty of room to maneuver as the GM.

The Arizona Cardinals (71 OVR) are another good team to rebuild in Madden NFL 24. Unlike the other two, they have a veteran quarterback to build around. They have draft picks to play with and Kyler Murray is a fun QB to play with. They have talent on offense, particularly at wide receiver. Their roster has holes, but that’s nothing for a devoted Madden franchise mode coach.

The Tennessee Titans (74 OVR) have a bare bones roster, but they have two young quarterbacks, one a rookie and the other in his second season. That’s enviable and can make rebuilding a team much easier. The Indianapolis Colts (77 OVR), with Anthony Richardson and Jonathan Taylor, fall into a similar category. They have a few solid players, and a future that’s unwritten.

The Seattle Seahawks (83 OVR) aren’t really in need of a rebuild as they’re in the middle of one that resulted in a playoff appearance last season. Still, they’ll be an easy team to turn into a genuine Super Bowl contender with a lot of draft picks to use from the Russell Wilson trade. They also have a few good, young players. The Green Bay Packers are another good team for the same reason. They have a young quarterback, Aaron Jones, and picks from the Aaron Rodgers trade.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers (81 OVR) are an interesting team. The Bucs have Mike Evans and Chris Godwin, but they just lost Tom Brady at quarterback. There’s not much in the way of cap space or draft picks, but they could be a fun team to try and build back up since they’re not all that good. Baker Mayfield is a fun player, so he could be an interesting player to try and build up over the long term.

Some teams, like the Green Bay Packers, Denver Broncos, New Orleans Saints, Atlanta Falcons, Pittsburgh Steelers, Los Angeles Rams, New England Patriots, and Washington Commanders are a little more challenging. Others, like the Buffalo Bills, Kansas City Chiefs, Cincinnati Bengals, Philadelphia Eagles, New York Giants, Jacksonville Jaguars, Miami Dolphins, Dallas Cowboys, Los Angeles Chargers, and Baltimore Ravens are not in need of a rebuild.

Teams with players like Micah Parsons, Joe Burrow, Jalen Hurts, Ja’Marr Chase, Davante Adams, Trevor Lawrence, Mark Andrews, Patrick Mahomes, Justin Herbert, Lamar Jackson, Stefon Diggs, and others are hard to rebuild since they’re already so good.

Rebuilding a team cannot occur in all game modes as it is restricted to the franchise mode.
