Those with the assumption that controller is the only path to take, hang on a minute. Hogwarts Legacy controls can actually be quite intuitive with the tweaks, making keyboard and mouse very viable indeed.

This advice is for the PC players out there who already have a controller for the days they just want to sit back and relax.
Generally speaking attacking and defending is going to be better with the mouse and keyboard, however, for overall enjoyment, we think the controller is the way to go.
You may find t hat you will have to rebind all your controls if you opt for mouse and keyboard, where as controller default settings are much more intuitive.
If you’re wondering whether to use a controller or keyboard for your PC version of Hogwarts, it all comes down to personal preference. With a controller it won’t be as precise – but reaction time for open world games such as Hogwarts is not as important.
