Titanium in Starfield is one of the most important resources as it is required to craft plenty of items. Acquiring this resource may seem challenging at first, but the process is pretty simple.

Before you start exploring every planet for Titanium, make sure you’ve managed to get your hands on a good armor set and some of the best weapons. This will make the exploring process smooth.

How can I get Titanium in Starfield?

Now, where to find Titanium in Starfield? Well, there are three ways to acquire it:

  • Mining it
  • Purchasing it from vendors
  • Looting it off of dead bodies

We’ll go more into detail on each method below.

By mining it

The best way to get Titanium is by mining it on different planets. Starfield has a feature that lets you scan the map and learn about the different types of resources offered by the planets. If you see a Ti chemical symbol on a planet, it means that it offers Titanium.

After choosing a planet, land on it and use your scanner to find Titanium. You can then use your Cutter to start mining the resource. Do keep in mind that you will receive one piece of Titanium per node. If you’re planning to mine it in bulk, we suggest you build an outpost first. Some of the planets that offer Titatinum include Pluto, Titan, Heilo, Copernicus II, and Schrodinger II.

By Purchasing It

Next, if you are not a fan of mining it yourself, you can go to different vendors and purchase Titanium from them for 12 Credits per piece. Almost every vendor offers it, so you won’t have a difficult time finding a suitable vendor. As vendors have a limited stock, you will need to use the wait feature every time you need to buy more than what they have at that moment.

By looting it

Finally, your last choice is to loot it off of dead bodies. This isn’t an ideal way to get Titanium, as the enemies you kill will rarely have this resource on them. You can’t expect to get tons of Titanium through this method, so it is best you just stick to the other two.

Once you’ve managed to get plenty of Titanium in Starfield, you can use it to craft different items such as Drum Magazine, Focus Nozzle, Choke, and more.
