Diablo 4 – How to make a Seasonal Character

Though the Season of the Malignant has begun, there has been some confusion among players on how to create a seasonal character in Diablo 4. In the season, fans can access new season-specific features which can not be found in the Eternal Realm. 

Blizzard Entertainment has introduced a new adventure filled with Malignant monsters and various rewards, from cosmetics to unique items. As all previously discovered areas of the map will be available to players, we’re sure many are excited to start this new journey. So, follow this guide to learn how to make a Seasonal Character in Diablo 4. 

How to create a Seasonal Character in Diablo 4

The Season of the Malignant has begun with new content for players to enjoy. However, it was unclear how players were to create a new character to participate in the seasonal content. To make a Seasonal Character, you must go to the Main Menu. 

1. In the Main Menu, you can then choose one of five classes. (Barbarian, Druid, Necromancer, Rogue, Sorcerer)
2. Select your preferred Class and choose your body type
3. Click on Finalize
4. After this, you’ll be on the character creation screen
5. Choose Face and Body, Hair and Accessories 
6. After this, enter a Character name and select Start Game. 
7. You must then select a Hero Realm and click on the Seasonal Realm. 
8. After this, choose your preferred World Tier and click Start

Once you click start, you will begin the first season quest. You can skip the campaign and get straight into the Season of the Malignant content. You will then meet the former Priest of the Cathedral of Light Cormond. 

However, you can only begin the new seasonal quest line after the completion of the campaign in the base game. Once the season has started, players can progress through the game by speaking to Vytran in Kyovashad. Cormond will explain the theme of the season and the central mechanic, the Malignant Hearts.
