What are Legendary Armaments in Elden Ring?

In Elden Ring, are you wondering where you can find Legendary Armaments?

Except for one, these weapons are sprinkled throughout The Lands Between and can be found at any moment during the game.

Overall, nine Legendary Armaments are there to find in the game. They are some of the most recognizable weapons available, and each has its own unique appearance and characteristics. This page lists all Legendary Armament locations. We’ll show you how to get them all in a step-by-step process.

We’ll reveal all nine Legendary Armament locations in our Elden Ring list. The Legendary Armaments Trophy is earned by collecting all of them. There is a tenth Legendary Weapon, but if you’re looking for the trophy, it only requires nine, so you may be able to skip one.

We’ll discuss it in detail below, but remember that when visiting Leyndell, Royal Capital, be sure to pick up the Bolt of Gransax. After a certain point in the story, this location becomes unavailable.

Grafted Blade Greatsword

Leonine Misbegotten drops the Grafted Blade Greatsword, a boss encounter in Castle Morne in the Weeping Peninsula’s south. After subsequently making your way over to the trst of the castle, the fight takes place on the tiny island in the far south of the map. You will receive the Grafted Blade Greatsword as a prize for killing Leonine Misbegotten.

Sword of Night and Flame

Sword of Night and Flame Location Walkways

Caria Manor in Liurnia of the Lakes is where you’ll find the Sword of Night and Flame. Travel rapidly to the Manor Upper-Level Site of Grace, then turn around and down the elevator. Continue down the bridges, and when you reach the fourth, look to your left to see whether there is a platform you can drop down to. Drop them one more time and make your way to the bottom of the ladder. The Sword of Night and Flame is kept inside a treasure box.

Ruins Greatsword

A double boss confrontation between a Misbegotten Warrior and a Crucible Knight may be found in Redmane Castle, located in the far south of Caelid. You will receive the Ruins Greatsword if you defeat both of them. Is the festival is already underway? Simply beat Starscourge Radahn and return to find a Fog Door blocking the main square’s entrance. If not, talk to the Jester, who should be able to help you reset your location.

Marais Executioner’s Sword

Marais Excecutioner Sword Skill

The Elemer drops the Marais Executioner’s Sword of the Briar, an optional boss encounter found in The Shaded Castle in the Altus Plateau.

Dark Moon Greatsword

The Dark Moon Greatsword is your reward for successfully completing Ranni the Witch’s arduous quest. You can obtain it from the altar at the end of the questline.

Bolt of Gransax

Keep an eye out for this missable Legendary Armament. You must first uncover the Erdtree at the end of the Mountaintops of the Giants section before agreeing to burn it. The weapon can be discovered in the Royal Capital of Leyndell.

After defeating Godfrey, First Elden Lord, descend the steps into the next room and take the elevator to the lowest floor from the Erdtree Sanctuary site of grace’s west door. Follow the path down to where the giant golden spear protrudes from the wall, then jump over the fence on the left. Climb a little higher up the spear to find this weapon.

Because the Royal Capital is destroyed at the end of the game, the weapon is no longer available for this playthrough. However, if you have a partner who does, you can have the weapon dropped to you in co-op. In New Game+, you can also rush back there.

Eclipse Shotel

The Eclipse Shotel is located in Castle Sol, in the very north of the Giants’ Mountaintops. The Church of the Eclipse is located in the southern corner of the building. Take the Eclipse Shotel from a corpse near the altar’s foot inside.

Devourer’s Scepter

The Devourer’s Scepter can be found on the dead body of an invading soldier in Crumbling Farum Azula. As if you were facing the Draconic Tree Sentinel, climb the steps from the Site of Grace called Beside the Great Bridge. Instead, turn around and walk straight down the street until you get to a balcony.

It’s easy to overlook this one! The NPC “Bernahl” at Warmaster’s Shack drops it when slain. He’s a merchant dressed up as a knight. Simply assassinate him in the Shack of the Warmaster. He will leave later in the game. You can find him in Volcano Manor and aid him with his task till he vanishes if you miss him here. He’ll reappear in Farum as a ghost down the stairwell from Site of Grace at the Great Bridge, where you can slay him for the Devourer’s Scepter. You will, however, miss this if you defeat Shardbearer Rykard before getting the weapon from Bernahl.

A treasure chest containing the Old Lord’s Talisman may also be found in this area. To obtain the Legendary Talismans Trophy, you must do so.

You can also do this in New Game+ by going straight to Warmaster’s Shack, which takes 10 minutes to reach. As a result, it’s not a “true” missable because you can get to it quite quickly in the second round of Elden Ring, as everything else is carried over.

Golden Order Greatsword

The Golden Order Greatsword, the last Legendary Armament, may be found in the Cave of the Forlorn, located in the western part of the Mountaintops of the Giants. The Rold Grand Lift will take you there. From the Ordina, head southeast till you reach the frozen riverbed. Continue east until you come to a closed door on your left. Two Stonesword Keys are required to enter.

The Misbegotten Crusader monster will drop the Golden Order Greatsword when you complete this cave.

Optional: Godslayer’s Greatsword

After defeating the boss “Godskin Apostle” in the Divine Tower of Caelid, the Godslayer Greatsword can be found in a chest.

The only way to get into the tower is through the roots that encircle it. You must descend many ledges to the tower’s base once inside, at the site of grace.

After killing the boss, go behind him and open the chest. This weapon is not required for the trophy, although it is unknown if collecting it will count as an extra to bypass another legendary.

It’s been shown beyond a shadow of a doubt that it isn’t required for the reward, even though it does show up as a legendary weapon when you select it.
