On the final meeting for the Ryujin Industries storyline in Starfield, you’ll be left with voting on the executive board to either stop Project Dominion or go ahead with it. Along with this, you’ll also be tasked with whether or not to buy out Infinity LTD.

Ryujin Industries is just one of the many factions you’ll find in Starfield, in the city of Neon. Their questline has you completing many missions, like Background Checks, but the decision for Project Dominion lies at the very end.

Should you stop Project Dominion from commencing? We’re here to let you know whether you should vote yes or no.

Should you stop Project Dominion in Starfield?

Whether you want to stop Project Dominion is completely a matter of personal preference. The rewards for both options are the same regardless, so whether you vote yes or no you’ll still receive:

  • An executive office in Ryujin Towers
  • Access to their mission board

Because the rewards are the same, all that matters is whether you want to stop the project or not. Because Project Dominion essentially gives people mind control powers, it’s more of an ethical concern than a gameplay one.

Whether you want your character to be in favor of the project or not will let you flesh out your character more in terms of personality. For a more evil character, it makes sense that they would want mind control powers. For more righteous characters, voting no is much more in line with their morals.

You’ve already done plenty of work finding the Project Dominion files, traversing Cydonia, and talking about how Razor Derby is the only real sport, so it’s nice that the Ryujin quest ends with a simple yes or no.

How do you stop Project Dominion in Starfield?

If you’ve decided you don’t want the project to go forward, you’ll need at least four votes no on the executive board. Because the CEO will vote yes, to get a majority out of the eight members of the board, you need to convince four others.

It’s important to note that if you plan on exposing Ularu Chen as the mole, her vote will not count. Make sure to focus on convincing other executives to vote no if that’s what you plan to do.

Once you’ve completed the vote, you’ll get your rewards regardless and will get your new resources and the ability to earn more XP and credits through the mission board.
