Week 4 in the NFL is all but in the books, and there are a lot of players who had excellent days on Sunday. Some players had career days and others continued to show Electronic Arts why they need a higher Madden 24 rating. The next roster update will have plenty of updates from EA Sports, and these five players need it in particular.

Who needs a ratings boost in Madden 24?

5) Christian McCaffrey- 97 OVR

Christian McCaffrey is already one of the best Madden players at 97 overall. That is beginning to look a little too low. He’s been a member of the 99 Club before, and he’s making an excellent case to return there soon. He had four touchdowns, three in one quarter, on Sunday as he dominated for the San Francisco 49ers. Well over 150 total yards was part of his day as well.

4) DJ Moore – 86 OVR

DJ Moore is proving to be one of the better wide receivers in Madden NFL. He caught eight passes for 131 yards and a touchdown in a huge offensive game for the Chicago Bears. Moore has not had consistent production this year as their offense has struggled, but he’s proven that he can produce when they get him the ball. Expect a slight ratings boost after a dominant effort in Week 4.

3) Anthony Richardson – 70 OVR

Anthony Richardson probably deserved a ratings boost after Week 1, and he once again showed up and showed out. The quarterback (QB) was wildly inefficient through the air, going 11/25 on pass attempts. However, he tossed two touchdowns and ran for another. He also led a game-tying drive late in the fourth quarter. The Indianapolis Colts might have won had they gotten the ball in overtime, but Richardson’s performance demands that he grow from a 70 overall.

2) Khalil Mack – 83 OVR

Khalil Mack saw his overall rating drop. The linebacker (LB) in Madden 24 dipped to an 83 and it appears he took that personally. He went out in Week 4 and showed why he’s a top edge rusher in the league. He was a menace on the defensive side for the Los Angeles Chargers yesterday, recording 10 combined tackles, six sacks, and two forced fumbles. He was in the backfield every single play, something that warrants a boost from 83 overall.

1) Puka Nacua – 75 OVR

Puka Nacua continues to be the surprise of the NFL season. In Madden, he’s a lowly 75 overall. His performance over the first few weeks is nothing short of incredible, though. He set rookie records in the first two weeks. In Week 4, he caught nine passes for over 150 yards and hauled in the game-winning touchdown in overtime. 75 is probably fair for an unheralded rookie who had a few good games. By now, it’s clear he’s good and here to stay, so Madden should give him a boost.

Madden 24 is available for Xbox Series X|S, PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PlayStation 5. The NFL season is underway, so rating boosts will come every single week.
