You will meet various companions and bosses as you progress through the game. Your choice will decide how Lae’zel or Wyll will interact with you. Some options are easy to make, while others will change what your companions think of you. Follow this guide to learn if you should break Sazza the Goblin out in Baldur’s Gate 3.

Baldur’s Gate 3 – Should you break out Sazza the Goblin

Is it worthwhile to break Sazza the Goblin out of the Makeshift Prison in the cellar? Ultimately, whether you break Sazza out and save her or leave her to die will not matter. If you break Sazza out of the Makeshift prison in Druid Grove, you will begin the Save the Goblin Sazza quest. One thing that needs to be clear is that your companions do not like Goblins.

Within this quest, you will learn more about the Goblin Camp, the Goblin Leaders, and (True Soul Gut) Priestess Gut and enter without needing to attack the Goblins. In the Gobling Camp, you can also rescue Volo, as he has been forced to perform. However, your companions will disprove your choices. Shadowheart will want to leave the Goblin Camp quickly as the Goblins worship Selune, a rival Deity. This is also where you can find the Owlbear Cub for a second time.

Once inside the Underground Passage, you can find the entrance nearby the Stone Door; you will meet Minthara, a Drow in the Shattered Sanctum. If you have chosen to side with the Goblins, you can also begin the side quest Raid the Emerald Grove; however, this will affect your companions.

Depending on your choices, she will kill Sazza with the Spiders. You can save Sazza again; however, the Goblins will not change their mind about killing everyone in the Druid’s Grove.

Additionally, if you choose not to break Sazza out of the Makeshift Prison, she will die at the hands of the Tiefling Arka and her crossbow. Your companions will approve of your choices of not saving the vermin. You can choose this option if you’re looking for a neutral playthrough.

Once you complete the Save the Goblin Sazza quest, you can begin the Save the Refugees quest. Here, you will meet a few notable NPCs, such as Kagha, Liam, and Zevlor, and you’ll find the Druid Halsin in the Worg Pens. There is also a passage to the Underdark that you can find in the back of the temple. You can also find many armor pieces and potions in this area, so be sure to search around.
