Is PSVR 2 Worth It? What upgrades have been made?

Yes. The PSVR 2 is a major improvement over the original PSVR. This high-end VR headset is supposedly one of the best VR headsets with an impressive build.

Here are all the improvements that have been made in PSVR 2:

Field-of-View and Resolution

The PSVR 2 has FOUR times the pixel count of the PSVR, which means that the image quality now will be four times sharper. What’s more, with a 110-degree field-of-view, players will now have a wider display area to immerse themselves into.

HDR

PSVR 2 is the first VR gaming headset that comes with a high-dynamic range (HDR) display. Therefore, players will now be able to enjoy a much brighter display that is not currently offered in a commercially-available VR headset. So you will get a more life-like brightness and have an incredibly immersive experience.

Lenses

The PSVR 2 features Fresnel lenses with IPD adjustment which offer the best image quality and comfort. Since these lenses are so improved, you won’t even realize that they are Fresnel lenses (which cause glare in other devices).

It also comes with onboard cameras for tracking your head movements. So convenient, right?
