Dragon Age Dreadwolf Release Date and Trailer
How long is the wait for Dragon Age Dreadwolf going to be?
The endless wait for the fourth Dragon Age game slowly seems to be coming to an end. The light is at the end of the tunnel and finally after seven – yes, seven – years, there is news on the next Dragon Age game. Dragon Age Dreadwolf is the fourth instalment in the Dragon Age franchise, the official title having been revealed mid 2022. And since then, we’ve had more Dragon Age related news, including a surprise Netflix Animation being released in late 2022, called Dragon Age Absolution. And as the Dragon Age Dreadwolf hype builds, we look to the future for a release date.
Although Dragon Age Dreadwolf doesn’t have a gameplay trailer, it goes have a small teaser featurette. Featuring our favourite dwarvern bard telling narrating the various events of the series thus far before panning back on everyone’s favourite egg man, Solas – also now known as Fen’Harel, the Dread Wolf. Although we don’t know too much about the game thus far, we know it’s set in Tevinter with a new Hero protagonist who will be facing against – or perhaps alongside – the slow uprising lead by Solas.
Dragon Age Dreadwolf Release Date
Dragon Age Dreadwolf is expected to come out in late 2023.
With more news and information coming out about its release the closer we get to it, and as of 2022, it’s been in development for 4 years – since 2018, four years after the release of Inquisition. And assuming all goes well in this later end of the development, we should be seeing the game out soon. In particular, we think the release date is nearing the end of this long wait, especially after the release of Dragon Age Absolution. We believe the creation and release of this TV series is to build up hype for the game, and that hype will then hopefully last until release. Meaning that Absolution all but confirm that Dragon Age Dreadwolf is coming out much sooner than we might think. Then again, we Dragon Age fans have known patience, we have known the wait. We will continue to wait, because we know just how many hours we’ll pour into the game once it’s finally out.
In the meantime, if you need a recap on the whole story thus far, we’ve written an extensive Dragon Age Retrospective covering all of the games in the franchise to catch you up ahead of Dreadwolf.
