Pikmin Bloom release date
Pikmin Bloom is coming soon, so get your walking shoes ready!
The latest walking-game from Nintendo and Pokemon Go’s Niantic is the cute and colourful Pikmin Bloom! To celebrate the 20th anniversary of the strategy puzzle game by Miyamoto, Niantic have collaborated with the creator and Nintendo.
Announced back in Marsh 2021, Niantic showed that they were working on a Pikmin game for mobile devices. Not much is known about the game so far, other than it replicates a few Pokemon Go features. It uses AR technology and is largely focused on being a walking game.
The game has a largely simple premise. You plant flowers, scattering flower petals which will leave a path of bloomed flowers. This will speed up the Pikmin shoots you have incubating, charges up nearby flower stem locations and earns you come flower coins. Players can collect various Pikmin of different colours, some even having their own cute outfits.
Pikmin Bloom release date
Pikmin Bloom released in Australia and Singapore on the 27th of October 2021. The rest of the world have yet to hear an official release date.
But based on Pokemon Go’s release, we can hope to see a worldwide launch in late October on early November. At the very least, it’s highly unlikely it’ll be released anytime after 2022.
It’s worth noting that the reason for this choice in release is so that Niantic can test out a variety of things. Server strength and stability, bugs and performance. As soon as Niantic believe the game is ready, it’ll be released.
Obviously it’s frustrating not to have an official date. But it’s highly likely we’ll see it released before the 5th of November. If it’s not released by then, there will be a ereason for it’s delay. And better to wait rather than play a broken game.
