Razer's latest Android handheld device gets a January release date

Razer recently unveiled its all-new Edge handheld gaming device. Many have been waiting for this drop for quite some time and as part of Razers CES 2023 announcements, they unleashed the Android handheld, along with its 5G connectivity.
First announced back at Razer con 2022, the device looks set to be a direct competitor of the Logitech G Cloud and essentially looks like a tablet device inside a Razer Kishi.
Razer has teamed up with Verizon to bring us the world’s first handheld 5G gaming console, promising ultra-fast speeds and low lag.
The new handheld will be available in three different editions, a wifi only model, the Founders Edition, and the 5G model.

Inside the new handheld, we have the Snapdragon G3x Gen 1 chipset and it features a 6.8-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 2400×1800 and a refresh rate of 144Hz.

Razer Edge price
The three Razer Edge editions come in at different prices, with the 5G model’s price still to be unveiled.
The wifi only Razer Edge is the entry-level handheld, coming in at $399.99. The Founders Edition will cost an extra $100 at $499.
The 5G model will cost $599.99, however, it may be possible to pick up the 5G model for $359.99 when you add it as a new line to your Verizon account (for a limited time).
